BodyForLIFE: Welcome to Body-for-LIFE's Chats with Champions! Tonight's guests are 2000 Couples Grand Champions Tod and Tory Nissle, from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Together, they virtually dropped their body fat in half by dropping a combined 34 lbs. of fat and gaining 14 lbs. of muscle in only 12 weeks, completely changing their bodies and improving all aspects of their lives. Hello, Tod and Tory! Thank you for joining us and spending time with us tonight!

Tory Nissle: Hello!

Tod Nissle: Hello. We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to speak with everybody tonight.

Tory Nissle: Thanks for sitting in!

Barbigrl: I would like to take the challenge, but last year I tried it three times and didn't make it because of my sugar cravings. How do you control them?

Tod Nissle: That's a tough question -- and I don't know if there's any such thing as 'control' -- but what you can do is minimize the cravings through eating more regularly. You find out when you eat six times a day and do the meal program as outlined in the book that your cravings will become minimized over time. Your body goes through almost a starvation stage, where you crave it after you give the sugar up, but once you get over that plateau it becomes easier to maintain and the cravings will drop dramatically.

Tory Nissle: Once you stop having so much sugar in your diet, you find you stop craving it as much, and when you do have cravings, you find you don't eat as much of it.

Tod Nissle: As the book outlines, the free days are an important component to make this a program for life, but we find it important to maintain control during those free days as well. Please apply yourself and don't give up; go one step at a time.

Tory Nissle: You can do it!

Lori: Did you use the same exercises all the time or did you vary them occasionally?

Tory Nissle: At first we were kind of using the same exercises when we first started out, but then we did switch them. Every four weeks we would switch our workout to different areas. We wouldn't work the same workout through the whole twelve weeks -- that way you would get a really good workout with each muscle group.

Tod Nissle: We would focus on the same muscle groups, but the exercises themselves would change. So, for example, we may have done dumbbells with a flat bench press for four weeks, and then the following four weeks it would have been inclined barbell press. It's important to continue to shock your muscles rather than fall into a routine, and that's why it's important to change the exercises every four weeks.

Tory Nissle: That way you don't get bored in the gym. You are motivated to keep going.

Amanda: Hi, Tod and Tory! What were your first reactions when using the products? Were you confident or perhaps a little skeptical?

Tory Nissle: Hi, Amanda! I think we were kind of leery on what to expect. This was all new to us at first. Like we said, we were uncomfortable at first, but once we started reading more about the products and getting familiar with what was out there, it became easy to understand how they worked with each other and how they could help us out with our exercises.

Tod Nissle: I agree with Tory in that we were both skeptical. We knew nothing about supplementation or supplements or what the benefits were. We just thought it was something we should probably do, and we started to use them. Over time, the benefits clearly outweighed what we could have accomplished without them, and that built the trust that "Hey, these things really work!"

Tory Nissle: And the 800 number for the EAS supplement line is great. They can answer any question that you have about anything -- how to use it, when to use it -- and we used that quite a few times. Tod would be like, "Give them a call, give them a call!" They helped us a lot. 800-297-9776 is the EAS supplement line.
