CCCMyst: Talk City Presents in association with BoxTop Live (tm) Welcomes You to Tonight's Feature Presentation Tonight we welcome LOVEMONGERS, featuring Ann and Nancy Wilson from HEART. And now without further ado, welcome LOVEMONGERS. Talk City Presents is a joint production of BoxTop(tm) Live and Talk City(tm) Welcome LOVEMONGERS!

LoveMongers: Hi, it's great to be here!

Nascar Says: Will there be a tour?

Nancy: We've done small West Coast tours as LoveMongers so far, in support of Whirlygig, but at this point we're concentrating more on press, and television, just to put LoveMongers on the map a bit more at this point.

Texmonger Says: Ever thought about getting a hip re-mixer to turn "miracle girl" into a dance smash (think its a great song)?

Ann: Yes, I think that would be a great idea! That song would lend itself well and, in fact, I know of a guy who may be doing that soon!

Mrpresident Says: Nancy, how do you take care of your voice?

Nancy: Well, I learned a lot from Ann about taking care of my voice, and a lot of that is about being really warmed up in advance. Not smoking is a good idea! Singing scales at low pitch, softly, it a good way to warm up, also steaming with eucalyptus helps, but the more you play in smoky places, the harder it is to warm up, so we have to be careful!

Marywiesner Says: Will The LoveMongers be joining the Lilith Fair tour this summer?

Nancy: Yes, we most definitely will!

Six- Says: you ever sing with John Cougar Mellencamp? I heard you guys did. If so how did you two like him?

Ann: We never sang WITH him, but there was a time when his band opened for Heart on the road. But the people liked him, and he did very well!

Sportman Says: Hello Ann and Nancy, who were both of your musical influences growing up?

Nancy: The Beatles, first and foremost, are the main reason we even picked up guitars! After the first show they did on Ed Sullivan, we forced our parents to give us guitars! Then, all the British Invaders like Cream, and the Rolling Stones. As for American influences, there was Joni Mitchell, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young also, really a lot by Elton John and Led Zeppelin! The list is long! That only names a few!

Bigcowboy Says: Been a fan for many years… I once heard that you are both Army brats! Is that right?

Ann: We were Marine Corp. brats! Big difference!

Annfan Says: Ann, what about your solo album, are you recording it right now and if it's gonna be released will it also be released in Europe!

Ann: I am writing songs for it right now, I'm looking for a record label for it, and when it's released, YES, it will be released in Europe, It will be released everywhere in the world.

Cmh Says: When are you going to come back to Saratoga performing arts center in New York?

Ann: I may be coming back there this summer! I'm coming out on the road with Heart featuring Ann Wilson, since Nancy is involved with having a baby and her doctors are saying "No touring" for a while, so, it will be "Heart featuring Ann Wilson" and we'll probably be doing all those types of places this summer!
