Teen sensations, Tia and Tamera Mowry, have been touted as the great sister act. The young actresses, who have both been bestowed the honor of ‘best actress’ courtesy of Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, discuss their hit show, “Sister 2 Sister” with fans.

Tia and Tamera Mowry are identical twin sisters starring in the hit show "Sister 2 Sister." Voted best actresses 3 years running on Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. Welcome Tia and Tamera!

The Mowrys: Hello we made it!

Sugarbaby: Hi, do both of you have fun making “Sister 2 Sister”? I really love that show!

Tamera: Yes we have so much fun. We really get to work with some great people--working with my sister is wonderful because she is my best friend!

Meriwidow: How did it feel to be named two of the best-dressed women on Television?

Tamera: It is awesome because we love fashion; it was an honor to be picked by TV Guide.

Tcman: Tia-Do you and your sister ever have rivalry?

Tia: Umm sometimes…usually over silly things like chores such as washing dishes

Tamera: Ditto.

Jester: Hi Tia and Tamara! Have either of you ever done a role without the other one in the show?

Tamera: Yes we have done commercials. Tia did some industrial films separately.

Gingerspice98: Who were your inspirations for acting?

Tamera: I don't know if you remember but it was the Cosby show…the actress Tishia Knight who played Rudi was my inspiration

Tia: Ditto…that was our favorite show!

Samantha: I'm sure it's hard to know how'd you feel if you weren't twins but do you find that being twins enhances your ability to work together or does it add any unusual obstacles?

Tamera: When we first started acting it was a disadvantage because they thought if we chose one twin over another there would be sibling rivalry and when we went out on auditions they told our agents to just send one of us…now they have learned we are two different people.

Jester: Hi Tamara! What do YOU do better than Tia?

Tamera: Good question. Tia dances better than me

Tia: Tamera sings better than me.

Ishtar: I love the show! But what are your plans for the future? More TV? Movies?

Tamera: We would love to do movies and that is in the making; we are waiting for the right project. God will send it on time!

Meriwidow: How has attending Pepperdine changed your life so far? Are you working and going to school?

Tamera: We now have friends! We both were tutored for many years on the TV set and we became lonely in our social life. We have new friends and an active social life. Yes we are both working and going to school; we have to do our school work on the weekends so that is hard, but we enjoy it.

Balboababe: Are you taking acting classes at college or more mainline academic studies?

Tamera: More academic subjects such as child psychology.

Tia: We are in the same classes.

Minerva: I know the show was nominated for an Emmy that must have been great! Did you have fun?

Tamera: That was for lighting so we did not get to go, bummer…maybe next year.

Jennyjo8: How has the fame you have gotten from your show changed your lives?
