JaxCCC: TalkCity Presents(tm), in association with iXL LIVE(tm) welcomes you! Tonight please welcome our special guest actress of stage and screen, Diane Farr. Diane Farr's stunning looks and charismatic personality have propelled her to her post as co-host of MTV's popular relationship show “Loveline.”

Diane Farr: Hello TalkCity!

Lilac: What has been the most exciting point of your career so far?

Diane Farr: I did a Broadway show in New York about 2 and a half years ago before I moved to L.A. It was something I had always wanted to do and it lived up to my expectations. It was called "No Place Like Home," a new comedy

Katccc: Diane, could you tell us a bit about what it's like working on MTV?

Diane Farr: MTV is different than one of the regular networks. It is a lot more 'laid back' in atmosphere. You feel more comfortable being under 30 than I felt on NBC or CBS. Also, you meet more musical type guests which is great when you like to go to concerts.

Mark101: Heya Diane, I was just wondering what it's like working with Adam on "Loveline". I know he's quite a character, also, how is your TV Show with Pam Anderson going?

Diane Farr: Adam is much more shy than most people would imagine. The first three weeks that we were shooting he barely talked to me besides sitting next to me on the couch. We both ended up stuck in a diplomatic situation that helped us become friends and now he is like a big brother to me. Before anyone asks the question, yes I do like Adam and yes, I do think he is funny. As far as Pamela Anderson goes, I met her last week for the very first time as a guest star on her new series for the fall called "VIP" for the Fox Network. She is very kind and very supportive on her set. Any woman that can wear high-heeled shoes for 12 hours deserves some kind of respect.

Edster26: How did you get chosen for the show ?

Diane Farr: Loveline was just another audition for me. In Los Angeles, your agent calls you up and tells you where to be tomorrow. You do not have much say on what auditions you are to go on. So I believe because I had theater training they thought I would be good at an 'improv audition.' There was no script for Loveline. At the first audition we started to talk about the fact that I teach acting in a maximum security prison in the Los Angeles area. So I think they figured if murderers did not scare me, then no question on Loveline would make me fall off the couch. However, they did make me go through five more auditions before I was finally offered the part last December. I was offered the part on a Wednesday and I shot three shows the next morning.
