CTV: Welcome to our CTVSportsnet chat with Steve Christie! Steve has been in Tampa since Monday and has a good idea of how the players are feeling leading up to the big game this weekend. Steve is here to answer your questions and comments. Send your questions now!

Steve Christie: Thank you for joining me on CTV SportsNet, and I will try to answer your questions as best I can.

Localtampa: Steve I'm a big Bills fan and was really impressed with what the defense was able to do this year until injuries took their toll.

Steve Christie: Yes, the Bills defense was great this year; unfortunately, we did suffer a lot of injuries at the end of the season. Unfortunately, our season was finished before it had ended, not that it didn't matter, but it made things even tougher.

Adam: Steve, I'm a CFL fan and have followed the career of Doug Flutie for years now. Has his success in the NFL raised the awareness of our players?

Steve Christie: Yes, I think it has. I think people are starting to realize that there may be more great players in the CFL that may have a chance to some day join the NFL like Doug has done. It should be noted that Doug Flutie is a tremendous athlete, and that I don't think that he ever should have left the NFL. He was good enough to stay.

Toby4foot: At the end of the season do players still hang out with one another or does everybody go their separate ways til training camp?

Steve Christie: Most players, about 90 percent of the players, live out of town and as soon as the season ends, they pack up their lockers and they leave.

Tambabay2: How long would you like to play?

Steve Christie: I've played years, and I'd like to play possibly four more. When I started playing, I thought a good goal would be ten years, but now that I've reached that, I guess fifteen will be the next one. I haven't given it that much thought.

MichaelinSP: If you had one wish for the Bills during the off season what would it be?

Steve Christie: I would like to have a kick-off specialist in with the Buffalo Bills this year, so that I could concentrate on just field goals.

Sierra: I read that you were on the Board of Directors for Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society; are you still involved with that?

Steve Christie: Yes, I am. And, I've been involved with the Historical Society for close to seven years now, and my role at this point in time is the Chairman of the Annual Fund Drive, as well as doing a public service announcement on their behalf. I got involved with it because I was an art history major at the College of William and Mary, and history has always been of great interest to me, and when I was asked to become a board member, it was by an alumni of William and Mary so it was a natural.

DestinysChild: I heard you like to paint, Steve -- what is your favourite thing to paint?

Steve Christie: I am what you would call an abstract impressionist painter. I deal with very bright colors, sometimes with figures, with people, sometimes not. Sometimes it's very abstract. Sometimes it's just the figures, but I still use very different color combinations, and I like to make really large paintings.
