Checkout.com: Welcome to a chat with 12-year-old Sammie, whose debut album "From The Bottom To The Top" was released on March 14th. His first single "I Like It" has already been a huge success! Send in your questions for Sammie about what it is like to record your first album and how his life has changed since then. Welcome to a chat with singer Sammie.

Sammie: Hello, my name is Sammie! You're online with me at Talk City!

Sammie Is Sweet: Sammie you are great! How long have you wanted to be a singer and how do you like your career?

Sammie: I wanted to be a singer when I was about eight, and I'm loving my career right now. "I Like It" went gold - it sold 500,000. It's just a lot of fun to meet people. And it's a lot of fun to travel!

CO-shel: Is all of the attention and press sometimes overwhelming?

Sammie: At times it could be, like at school and when I'm hanging out with my peers it's kind of uncomfortable.

Cellie: What does the title of the album mean?

Sammie: It means several things. Such as, The Bottom is Miami, and I'm rising from Miami all the way to the top of the map. Also, it means I'm coming from, like an average kid, to a superstar!

Bess99: Are you doing any more music videos?

Sammie: There's supposed to be one coming up for the second single. And one should be coming out also, if I'm not mistaken, in the summer.

I Love Sammie: Why is Miami important to you?

Sammie: Miami's important to me because that's where I'm from. They show much love and support, so that's why I give them much recognition!
