His hit talk show with his sister Marie was also recently nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award. Welcome to CheckOut.com and Talk City Welcome Donny Osmond Donny Osmond: Hi Everyone! Let's get started! Coffee Bean: What was the most exciting thing about doing "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat?" And will you return to the stage anytime soon? Donny Osmond: The most exciting thing was getting rid of the loincloth. And, no I don't think I'll be returning soon. Jade Blue Afterglow: Are you going to be doing any more Broadway shows or voices for movies? Donny Osmond: My schedule with the Donny and Marie show doesn't permit me to do too many other things. I've been asked, but time is an issue. Osfor: Were there any differences between doing "Joseph" live compared to taping it? Donny Osmond: There are definite differences. The film version is much more spectacular with sets and costumes, but it's hard to beat the live theater. CO-spunkie: Hello Donny. This is so great to finally be able to purchase your Joseph video. Thanks so for keeping your fans happy. Donny Osmond: I hope you enjoy the video; it was certainly exciting to make. CO-Michelle: If you could relive one experience in your professional life, what would it be and why? Also one in your personal life, if it's not too "personal". Donny Osmond: I remember a concert at Arlington Raceway in Chicago there were about 42,000 people. It was one of the most exciting concerts that I can remember. Another one, when I flew over the audience in 1972, I believe at Earls Court in London. Then Mick Jagger copied me a couple of months later at Madison Square Garden. Another one, the CNE in Toronto, when Michael Jackson was watching me from the wings, the stadium was packed. It was one of the best shows I can remember. That's the first time I met Mike. As far as personal stories are concerned, there's so many.I'd like to relive marrying my wife, it was a great moment. Everybody now.aaawwwwww Ella Pr: Do you have a most embarrassing moment from the show? Donny Osmond: There's too many to name, but one that sticks out in my mind that happened last year was when I was hosting the Miss America pageant, live TV, millions of people watching, and Marie pointed out that my fly was down. I guess that's what sisters are for. Mystery Girl: Donny, I've been a fan of yours from.well, from the beginning! I'm going to go pick up your video today after this show! Being a father and husband (and successful talk show host) takes up most of your time. What do your own kids think when they see "Dad" from your first appearances to your present ones? Donny Osmond: Good Question! When you say from the "beginning," are you talking 1847? As far as what my kids think of me, I'm just a dad. They could care less about show business. Although, they do laugh when they see the costumes I used to wear. CO-Terry: When you were making the video last summer, did you get to spend much time sightseeing with your family? Donny Osmond: Not much, because the shooting schedule was so tight. I didn't get a chance to do many things with them. But I did get to see my son who is on a mission over there, and has been for the last two years. CO-Michelle: When will you be releasing a new album, and what type of music can we expect on it? Any plans for a song with Marie? Donny Osmond: I am working on the album right now and it's hard to say exactly the type of music it will be, but I want to make it completely different than what I've done in the past. I think polka will make a big splash!
