Tobias: Do you want to be a professional surfer?

Mark: I would love to be a professional surfer. I know that professional athletics are a short-term thing. I am trying to build a better occupation that I can do the rest of my life like a businessperson. I want to own a big business, most likely a clothing company.

Angie: It seems like you date a lot of girls. Are you interested in having a serious girlfriend?

Mark: I don't date that many girls. I just go out with a lot of girls. We just hang out together. I would like to have a serious girlfriend now, but then when I think about it, I have to worry about leaving her to go to school. I can't think of letting anything hold me back from my college or career. I think I need to finish college before I get into a really serious relationship.

Mel: Have you ever been rejected?

Mark: Yes I have. I have been rejected a few times. Some of them by my ex-girlfriend who I was trying to get back with when she broke up with me. It doesn't feel too good when you love the person and she won't take you back. Most people at some time or another will get rejected. Keep dating; never dwell on one person too long, once you realize it's not gonna happen.

AlphaBabe: Does it matter to you what your girls look like or is it the personality that matters?

Mark: Well I try to make personality a major issue. I think in everyone's eyes looks do have a part. I don't think anyone would go out with someone they are not attracted to.

LatinaAngel4EvA: How do you think is better way to go out with someone, that the girl asks the guy out or that the guy asks the girl out?

Mark: I don't think it really matters which one it is. If both of you like one another, then one of you should make the move. I don't think it matters which one makes the move, just that someone does to get the relationship started.

Kwazylollypopprincess: Who did you admire when you were little?

Mark: I think I admired one of my favorite surfers, Shane Dorian. Also, my dad, ’cause he taught me everything I know about surfing. My dad also taught me about business.

Caribbean-gurl: How long were you and Kristi together?

Mark: Kristi and I were together for around 5 months. It was my longest relationship, and was a good one while it lasted.

Manda: If a girl likes you but you don't like her back, how do you tell her?

Mark: What I would do would be to take her out, like to coffee or dinner and just tell her how I feel. You shouldn't lead someone on; you should try to tell him or her as easy as possible, trying not to hurt their feelings.

LatinaAngel4EvA: So what happened to Lindsey? Do you still like her?

Mark: Lindsey and I broke up last year, and I still like her -- she is a great girl. We actually worked together this summer. She sits in front of me in one of my classes, so we talk every day.

MsBelievin: Mark, have you set yourself any goals in your career or are you taking it day by day and just having fun!

Mark: Well I try to take things day by day and have a lot of fun. I definitely have set goals for myself. I want to be a successful businessperson. One of my goals is that I plan on hopefully being married and having children by the time I am 30.

SheGirl: It's so depressing, I am going out with this guy and he is still seeing his ex on Fridays. What should I do? I am 15 years old, by the way.

Mark: It doesn't sound like too solid of a relationship, as he is still seeing his ex. Maybe you need to talk to him about it.

Rainbow Raspberry: Hi! What would a guy think if a girl talked to him, then stopped because she just didn't know how to act around him?

Mark: If a girl was talking to someone then stopped completely I don't think that would be good. If she is unsure about how to act around him, she should just act like herself.

AlphaBabe: Did you get your bod from surfing?

Mark: Yeah I think surfing had a big part in it when I was growing up, ‘cause I did it every day. Now I do spring track and I lift weights 4 days a week at a gym. I run 5 miles a week too.
