I'm back, it's Christmas time, and everything is just crazy here in New York City! How's everyone out there? I hope you haven't pulled your hair out yet. I am waiting to answer your questions! Stargazer: Creighton, are you doing any stars' hair for the holidays this year? If so, can you give any ideas what they are going to be doing? Creighton: Yes, I'm doing a lot. I'm busy throughout Christmas and New Year's. Everyone wants something different, something simple and easy. It's a lot of that old-school glamour. Dazzeled: What do you think the stars will be doing (or should be) with their hair in 2000? Creighton: Stay away from overdone do's. The electric colors, dramatic hair cuts, and over hair-sprayed styles just aren't in anymore. Try something more relaxed, carefree. If it's short keep it natural and tousled. If it's long, pull it back or tie it up. Iamgretchen: I want to do something funky with my hair for New Year's, but my hair is so long and coarse it's hard to do anything with it. I'm wondering if pigtails are in or out? Creighton: Pigtails are always in, depending on your outfit -- at least I like them. But if you are trying to do something fun and funky, try twisting it in small sections from your forehead to the top of your head, all the way around (which will shorten the length) and then pin down the loose hair and make a messy up-do. That's fun and very glamorous. Moptop: My hair is wild and curly and pretty long. I'm thinking of cutting it REALLY short for the New Year. Do you think super-short hair looks silly on girls with naturally curly hair? (I can't decide if I like Felicity's short hair!) Creighton: Short hair is great for curly hair. Try extra products. You can always have the texture chemically altered with an anti-curl to make it loose and wavy. With short hair you can always grow it back and cut it even shorter if you don't like what it's doing. Jude: What is the best thing to use to comb out tangles from wet hair? Creighton: I like to use spray-in conditioners. Find one that's not too heavy, put it loosely in towel dried hair, and you should be ready to comb right through it. Larry93q: How do you prevent hair loss? Creighton: That's a tough one. If it's in your genes and you're destined to be bald, then it's going. And I haven't ever found that there's anything you can do with it, except get a better haircut. Work with it, don't try and cover it. There are over the counter and prescription drugs available, but I don't know much about them. You should talk to your doctor.
