GrinCCC: Bryan Miller is s former New York Times restaurant critic, food writer and cookbook author. He's currently working with Cityscapes in their New York Food Review Section. "Cooking For Dummies" co-author, Marie Rama, isn't with us tonight, but we have an hour to "grill" Bryan about some of his secrets from the kitchen! . Bry: Could we chat about OJ instead?

GrinCCC: YAY Bryan! It's good of you to be here!

Bry: Did you hear that Dennis Fung has been hired to write Chinese Cooking for Real Dummies?

GrinCCC: Well folks, who has a cooking question that they're just aching to ask an expert?

Bry: I was on TV this morning at 6 am cooking pasta from the "Cooking for Dummies" book.

Jack1st: Is this connected to the tv show?

Oregano: How do I add some zip to my pasta,w/o extra calories?

Bry: And the stage crew actually ate it!

GrinCCC: jack1st, well Bryan WAS on TV this morning.

Virago: I have one. How do you store vinegars?

Bry: The clams were ceramic. OK, did you hear the one about the Pope and the sheepherder?

Liz: How to make curry chicken?

Kittykat: How do you make it easy and enjoyable after a long day of work?

GrinCCC: Bryan, Oregano was wondering how to add some zip to pasta, without extra calories?

Jack1st: I don't use that much oil when I cook . How long will it last stored before it goes bad?

GrinCCC: Great questions!

Bry: Is this the main channel?

Bry: Hold, on , there are lots questions. Here we go.

Innes73: You've just stepped into a bigger world.

Bry: You can add zip to pasta without adding calories by adding some red pepper flakes, diced japeno peppers, or other hot peppers.

Oregano: In the sauce?

Bry: Hey, the best Italian chef just rang my bell downstairs and I'm going to bring him in on this chat. Watch Seinfeld for 10 seconds and I'll be right back.
