Jay: Angel, after the last tough loss, what are your plans?

Angel Manfredy: To regain the world title, and to become the undisputed lightweight champion, I want all the belts at lightweight.

Sugar Is Da Man: Angel where do you see yourself in 12 months?

Angel Manfredy: In a year, I'll be world champion. I'll be defending my title once or twice within the year. And I'll be going throughout the world, preaching the word of God, preaching salvation, preaching the truth about life through our Lord Jesus Christ. Reaching out to kids, motivating kids, testimony to kids, letting them know that they can be somebody if they believe, if they live it, they can accomplish all things through Christ, and just motivate them to the point where they are going to live right and be determined. And that anything they do, as long as it's positive, they will be more accomplished through Christ.

Icub4ucme: Angel, I would like to see you fight Naseem do you think it will ever happen?

Angel Manfredy: I doubt it. I think he's not going to come up to 135.

Pretty Boy: Since 135 is probably considered to be one of the weakest division, wouldn't you rather fight someone like Chico who is moving up that a world title?

Angel Manfredy: As long as they are at 135. That's my weight class. I'm going to listen to my body. I'm not going to go back to 130, I'm going to stay at 135.

Tharold: Angel, when are u up for a title fight?

Angel Manfredy: Sometime this year, God willing.

Motorcitysnowman: Who do you think the greatest feather of all time is?

Angel Manfredy: Oooohhh.that would be Willie Pep!

John7473: Angel, what's your favorite place you've gotten to travel for a fight?

Angel Manfredy: That would be South Africa. I enjoyed it, I enjoyed the people. I enjoy the people everywhere I go, throughout the United States and throughout the world. I love the fans, the fans are what made me. That's what I play for, one of the reasons, is for the people.

Kellie: What do you think about tonight's fighters?

Angel Manfredy: Right now, I'm watching the Diaz-Sencion fight. I'm not too impressed. I'm not too impressed right now. Julio is winning the fight, it's pretty decent right now, but I'm not too impressed. They both have to grow more as fighters, but it is a very good matchup.

Tania: Who would you generally consider to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world?

Angel Manfredy: I don't know. Fighters are changing, champions aren't keeping the whole title. I just don't know. It is hard to say.

Bigred: What fighters did you look up to, my son believe or not looks up to you

Angel Manfredy: The fighters I looked up to would be the old fighters. The Benitez, the Haglers, the Durans, the Sugar Rays. Those fighters. I look at them, and I see those old guys. Chavez is one of the main guys I was looking at and studying, because I love his power and accuracy as he was coming up. He was one of the guys I looked at. All the legends, the Hall of Famers. The older fighters are the true champions, those are the fighters I look up to.
