Joe Barbara: Hi everybody!

Abbey: Would you ever like to see your character stray from his normal good guy behavior? (not that we don't love you that way).

Joe Barbara: Oh God yes!

Vicfan: Do you plan to stay with another world?

Joe Barbara: Yes. I have no immediate plans to leave. I am having a great time where I am. by the way I am eating a can of Progresso soup if anyone is interested!

Kay26: Does it get boring to be so good all the time?

Joe Barbara: That is an interesting question. I would say yes, but my job is to not let it get boring because if it is boring for me it will definitely be boring for you. But would I like some other challenges? Absolutely! There have been times when I feel like I do one of four things- 1. tell Paulina I love her, 2. tell someone what they should not do 3. wait for a forensics’ file, and 4. stop someone from solving the crime because there is not enough evidence. But according to our new exec producer there is going to be some new very emotional stuff for me to play. And he is rally breathing some much need new life into the show.

Pops: Are you going to be at the fan club lunch?

Joe Barbara: Oh yea!

NBC Live: For those who don't know, can you tell us about the "Fan Club Luncheon"?

Joe Barbara: Yep, in April, the 17th in NYC, stay tuned to daytime central for more details.

Mookie: What did you do for Entertainment Tonight?

Joe Barbara: I carried anything heavy and drove the van and parked the van and paid for a lot of parking tickets, not an easy task in NYC! Seriously, we did interviews with the biggest stars in NYC. I set up a lot of the equipment like lights and cables, etc. I got to meet a lot of big stars. Boy could I tell stories! P.S. once I even ate peanuts with Ringo Starr!

Abbey: What was your favorite story line on the show? And most proud accomplishment?

Joe Barbara: My favorite story line was when Joe was still a P.I. and when he was first falling for Paulina and investigating Jake’s "death." The character was still new and there were fewer restrictions on him
