NBC: Hello and welcome to a very special TNBC chat event. Today's chat topic is drug and alcohol use among teens. We are lucky to have with us --- Brandon Baker --- from "One World" --- Steven Daniel --- from "City Guys" as well as --- Dr. Patrick B. Johnson --- from the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse. Brandon Baker plays Cray Blake, a teen searching for his identity and heritage, on the Saturday morning TNBC show "One World." When he's not working, Brandon can usually be found on his rollerblades, trying to find a game of roller hockey. He also enjoys hanging out with his friends, as well as skateboarding, snowboarding and going to the movies. Steven Daniel plays Lionel "El-Train" Johnson, Manhattan High's resident bully with a heart of gold on the show "City Guys." Away from the set, Daniel loves music and can play eight different instruments. He also collects vintage instruments and hopes one day to display them in a museum. For now, they are on display in the offices of the music company that he started, called Five By Seven Entertainment. Dr. Patrick B. Johnson is an expert on adolescent alcohol use and precursors of early drinking and smoking. As Deputy Director of Medical Research and Practice Policy at CASA, and a Professor of Psychology at Manhattan College, he knows and understands the pressures kids face today. Dr. Johnson has authored numerous publications on a broad range of policy issues, and his work has been published in a number of peer-reviewed and other journals.
