Pizza: Do you really think Judah is as good as Sweet Pea?

David Reid: I think he can be. Right now, yes, I think he can. All he has is to do is fight the right type of opponent to prove himself. He's that good!

Erix: Do you think you will step up to Roy Jones, Jr.?

David Reid: Maybe, maybe not. It all depends how I blow up. I want to fight at 175 pounds, one day, but right now there's not real good competition at that weight.

Gordon: Dear Champ, who do you like in the Vargas/Quartey match-up?

David Reid: I like Vargas in that fight because he's more aggressive, and he's younger, even. Quartey is strong, but I think Vargas can be strong.

Pizza: Tszyu in 5 tonight. Ten Trinidad will get him in 7. What do you predict?

David Reid: I like to get him in 3. I want to show my skill first, and then knock out Trinidad. :

Box Grrl04: Do you have any fears about fighting Trinidad with the record he has?

David Reid: No, not at all, because I've been in this position so many other times. If I weren't in this position before, yes, I would be scared. It's regular; I'm used to fighting against guys like Trinidad.

Box Grrl04: Make a prediction, and be like the great Muhammad Ali. What round, and with what punch will you take him down?

David Reid: I would like to punch him in 4 because I want to see him on the floor! I would like to punch him with my right hand, with a straight right hand to the jaw.

Mike: Trinidad has knockout capabilities in either hand. Do you feel that will be a problem?

David Reid: No, not at all, because he has to hit me with both hands to hit me with the knockout punch. If he can't hit me, it won't be a problem.

Love: David, after watching the De La Hoya fight, do you plan to stay on top of Trinidad?

David Reid: Yes! I am going to run like De La Hoya, but I am going to capitalize off of all of the flaws he in the De La Hoya fight.

Proboxfan: David, what do you think is the biggest key to beating Felix Trinidad?

David Reid: I think my biggest key is my speed and my power! I'm training a whole lot harder, and I'm a lot more disciplined. There is no playing around; I have to be dead serious.

Proboxfan: David, what is the biggest single thing you learned about Trinidad from the De La Hoya fight?

David Reid: What I learned is that Trinidad likes to plant his feet to throw the power shots, and I am too fast on my feet for that.

Proboxfan: David, do you plan on being the aggressor against Trinidad, jabbing and moving and not letting him set his feet?

David Reid: Yes! I am planning on being more aggressive, and I plan to use my feet and my power. I plan on making him miss a lot. I'm planning to outclass Trinidad early in the fight.

Gordon: Dear Champ, if you get by Trinidad, will you consider moving up to 160?

David Reid: I might fight one more fight at 154, and then I will move up to 160 and go for all three belts in the weight class. It would take a while to get rated in each and every belt category. There's the WBA, the WBC, and the IBF. It's hard to get rated in each of those belts, so it may take me about a year or two.

Proboxfan: David, are you looking at this fight to prove to fight fans that you can be one of the most exciting fighters in the game?

David Reid: Exactly! Yes! I'm taking this fight because I want to be a pound for pound fighter. A lot of writers say that I'm not looking too spectacular, but I'm beating these guys well. I'm beating all my opponents in a good way.

Znet: Felix said he would take advantage of your droopy eyelid. Does this really affect your game?

David Reid: No. It doesn't affect my game at all. If it would affect my game, then I would have lost. But if someone with one eye would beat me, then I would hang up my gloves.

Mark137: David, I watched you win gold at the 1996 Olympics. Do you think your upcoming fight with Trinidad will have the same dramatic finish?

David Reid: Let's hope so! I don't want to be losing and have to come up with a dramatic win.
