Showtime: Welcome to our live chat with Kristin Dattilo! Kristin plays Yola, Chris' manager on "The Chris Isaak Show." Kristin, an Illinois native, landed her first role at the age of 16. Since then, she has had lead roles in nine series, including "Overseas" and "The Duplex." She has also guest starred on many other shows, including "Friends," "Ally McBeal," and "It's Like, You Know." She has several big screen credits as well, including the upcoming comedy "Love and Support," "Some Girl," with Juliette Lewis and Giovanni Ribisi, "Infinity" with Matthew Broderick and Patricia Arquette, "Pyrates" with Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick and "At First Sight." Ask Kristin about her new role on "The Chris Isaak Show." Welcome Kristin! Let's get started!

Kristin Dattilo: Welcome, and there will be a big surprise for everybody who stays.

Orrie: How have your friends and family reacted to the show and your role?

Kristin Dattilo: They are supportive. Most of them aren't in the business so they don't even really know--they just know I have a job and that it is valid. Like last week, when the show aired.

Herman: What is it like working with the cast?

Kristin Dattilo: They are amazing and most of them are crazy. Chris is a genius and he is the most out of his mind. And then Jed. We're not sure if Jed has a mind (smiling). That is hilarious fun! Lots of practical jokes going on. Lots of music--impromptu music.

Aversion: What attracted you to this project?

Kristin Dattilo: I was unemployed. Aside from that, it was a great script and a really fun character.

Norris: What did you do to prepare for the show or your role?

Kristin Dattilo: I wanted to do a one-hour that had comedy too--that wasn't a sitcom. My real life boyfriend is a music manager and does Yola's job. So I studied him.

Harry: Yola seems to be a lot of fun. Do you enjoy playing her?

Kristin Dattilo: I love playing Yola. Sometimes I think it is easy to get caught up in the stress of playing someone that is stressed all the time. Sometimes when I get off of work, my back hurts and I actually get stressed from playing stressed all day.

Jim: How would you describe Yola?

Kristin Dattilo: She's neurotically good hearted and she desperately wants to succeed in all aspects of life. Just like all of us.

Josie: How would you describe the show?

Kristin Dattilo: It's kind of a mish mosh of everything. There is comedy. There is drama. I have probably seen a handful of episodes and I still don't know. What do you think? I'd like to hear what you'd say.

Kitchelg: How do you like working with Chris? He is so cute!

Kristin Dattilo: I like working with Chris a lot. He is not as cute in the morning as he is.

Sammie: How many hours a week does your part in the show take up?

Kristin Dattilo: Some days we work 12 to 14 hour days, and other days I will come in for 3 hours, so it all depends how big my story line is that week.
