SocialNet presents CEO Liz Kalodner September 14, 2000 SocialNet.com's CEO, Liz Kalodner, talks about her company's contest, "Win a Date with SocialNet's CEO and make her mother happy," and the type of relationship she's looking for. SocialNet: Welcome to this madcap hour of chat with CEO Liz Kalodner. Liz is the prize of the "Win a Date with SocialNet's CEO and make her mother happy" promotion. Ms. Kalodner worked at Disney before relocating to the Bay Area to take the CEO position at SocialNet. Now is our chance to ask her in-depth questions about the contest, her life, and what she is looking for in a date or mate. Hi, Liz, we're glad you're here! Brent: Did your employees put you up to this or was this your idea? Or someone else's? Liz: Welcome to the chat and to SocialNet's contest. I am thrilled to be a part of it! It was all the employees. I had nothing to do with it. They certainly knew that I was looking for dates and looking to get married and they thought it was a perfect fit for what we do here at SocialNet. Kyle: So, I gotta ask, what prompted you to get into the dating-business? Liz: I figured I could kill two birds with one stone, have a great job, and a great dating life. Greg: Do your friends think you're weird to be doing this? Liz: They don't think I'm weird, but they think I'm a very good sport. They think it's a lot of fun and I'm sure that many of them are in tonight's chat room. YOYO: Musical tastes are always a good start - so, what would you say are your top-three favorite bits of music? Liz: I'm a big fan of classical vocalists. Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland. Phillippe: If Mr. Right was standing in front of you, what would you do to find out if it was truly him? Liz: I'd say "Will you marry me?" And.would you like to meet my mother first?
