Sony Music Canada presents Our Lady Peace August 21, 2000 OLP: Mike: Everyone seemed to like it, and they had fun. Raine: It's hard to judge a song on first listen. Dustball: BUFFALO LOVES OLP! Anyway, I assume there was lots of munchies all over backstage Summersault, what did you guys feast on the most? OLP: Jeremy: Not much. Catering wasn't very good. MikeOLPfan: Hey OLP. I just thought that I should say you rule and what made you decide to make a new album so soon after "Happiness?" OLP: Jeremy: We had a bunch of great songs, and we knew that you had to have them as soon as possible. S1LVeR: There were obviously a lot of drugs at the Summersault shows, how do you feel about it? OLP: Jeremy: We don't see any drugs. Dustball: Loved the Barrie show - can you give us a hint to the theme regarding the new album, fishy? Creepy dolls? Nipple rings? OLP: Raine: All of the above. Superrgirll: What was your favorite band to watch perform at Summersault? OLP: Jeremy And Raine: A Perfect Circle. Mike and Jamie: The Catherine Wheel. Duncan: Eve 6. Viviannem: Is it true that someone threw mud at you guys while performing? OLP: Jeremy: No one threw mud at us; they threw it at Dave Grohl, for good reason. Raine: He provoked it. Ourladypeace2004: What is the story behind the song "4am?" OLP: Raine: "4am" is about losing touch with someone and trying desperately to get it back. Smurp: Smurp from the CC here [Smile] There is much skepticism lately that following the release of the 4th album, you guys are going to split; is this the case? Or what do you have to say on this? OLP: Jeremy: We are not going to split up. We are going to make records until we are all 75. Blistergirl: You guys rocked in Barrie! Do you plan on putting out any live CDs of your material? OLP: Jeremy: No, there's enough on Napster for everyone, which is great. Go Napster. Mongo: Jeremy, tell us about your gig as the assistant host of Gorilla Radio? OLP: Jeremy: It was a pleasure to work with the great Morgan Kendall making radio history every night. The whole purpose of Gorilla radio was making fun of the minority so the majority could have a good laugh. [Wink]
