WarnerBros: Welcome, chatters! Today we are chatting with TV's hottest new number, Nikki Cox, who kicks up a storm as a struggling Vegas showgirl married to a pro-wrestler wannabe in the hilarious sitcom "Nikki." We'd like to welcome Nikki Cox! Thank you for being here and chatting with us today. Let's get started. Nikki Cox: Thank you. Nice to be here. Bigfatguy: When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? Nikki Cox: I wanted to be an actress or a bricklayer. Billybob: What was it like working with a puppet? Was he temperamental? Nikki Cox: Well, the puppeteer was very nice, but the guy who did the voice for the puppet was a real pain in the butt. grin WarnerBros: How did you break into show business? Nikki Cox: I started as a dancer. An agent came to the studio where I was taking class and asked if I wanted to pursue it, and I did. Js11: How long does it take to tape one of the opening dance numbers? Nikki Cox: We usually do 2 to 3 dance numbers a week and it's usually a day-long process to get each number. Crazyguy: Do you have a dream role? Nikki Cox: Martha in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" or the girl in the "Seven Year Itch." WarnerBros: Do you like working for the WB? Nikki Cox: Of course! They've been very kind to me and very supportive to me for many years. It's much appreciated. WarnerBros: Could you give a synopsis of your show? Nikki Cox: Sure. It's a romantic comedy set in Las Vegas. I play an aspiring show girl and the fellow who plays my husband is an aspiring pro wrestler. Dadoffive: What advice would you give to a little girl that wants to grow up to be an actress like you? Nikki Cox: I would just say to take class and to be sure it's something she wants to pursue because it's a rough job. David Simpson: How do you stay in such great shape? Do you have a vigorous workout regime? Nikki Cox: Mostly McDonald's and napping. Dinky: What's it like to be the star of your own series? Nikki Cox: It's flattering, exciting, and really scary. WarnerBros: Do you expect to be doing any movies? Nikki Cox: Not at the time being. Right now, I'm pretty busy with the current deal, but if something comes up, of course, that would be great. Jr1no: Will you return to "Norm" for just one more episode (since they still keep mentioning your name)? Nikki Cox: I did two episodes at the beginning of the season and I believe those have already aired. As far as the future, I'm not sure yet - they might.
