Warner Bros: Welcome chatters! Today we will be chatting with Marley Shelton, star of the frightening new thriller, "Valentine." Marley will be here to answer all of your questions about her exciting role in this new movie and lots more! Welcome!

Marley Shelton: I'm happy to be chatting with everyone, and if you haven't seen the movie, I hope you go see it.

What You Sayin: Your director Jamie Blanks does some scary movies! First "Urban Legends," and now "Valentine." What is he like to work with?

Marley Shelton: We jokingly call Jamie the "Young Hitchcock." He is incredibly enthusiastic, and that makes it really enjoyable working for him.

Fluffy The Vampire Slayer: Have you watched the movie yet (I'm sure you have!) and if so, did you enjoy it?

Marley Shelton: I have seen the movie. The first time I saw it, I saw it alone, in the afternoon. And it was much more exciting and scary to see it with an audience at the premiere.

Nestle: Marley, did anyone on the set ever play jokes or try to scare one another for fun? If so, can you tell us about one of those times?

Marley Shelton: There was one incident where the director, Jamie, tried to scare me. We were shooting a scene where I was walking upstairs and I knew the killer was lurking. Without telling me, he had somebody hide behind the door wearing the Cupid mask, and I was so startled that I screamed and jumped about three feet!

Movie Buff: Did you find it difficult to play the role of Katie Davis, or was it easy to portray her personality?

Marley Shelton: In the horror genre, you don't spend too much time with backstory because you want to get on to the killings as quickly as possible. But as an actor, I enjoyed playing with suspense and what creates suspense dramatically.

Batgirl2000: Did you like working on the "Valentine" movie? Have you in the past or do you have any interest in doing a television drama or sitcom?

Marley Shelton: I really enjoyed working on "Valentine." We shot on location, and the cast and crew got along great. Right now, I'm into making movies, but never say never. I could do TV in the future. Who knows?

Cimster: How do you compare your role in the movie "Valentine" to other movies that you've acted in? Was it more difficult?

Marley Shelton: Each acting job I've had has been so different, it's like comparing apples and oranges. "Valentine" was fun because it was physically demanding and I like playing with suspense.

Desy: Does it feel odd going from such a different genre movie like "Pleasantville" to a thriller like "Valentine?"

Marley Shelton: Variety is the spice of life. I think that's why I love my profession so much. I have the opportunity to try out all sorts of genres and roles.

Gabb Online: I heard that the movie was shot on location. Where exactly was it filmed?

Marley Shelton: We shot in Vancouver, Canada.

Mystic: If it's decided that there will be a sequel to "Valentine," would you want to be part of the cast?

Marley Shelton: You never know. If the price is right.

Toaster Tech: Is there a genre you'd never do?

Marley Shelton: Pornography comes to mind.
