YM: YM & DKNY would like to thank you for joining our chat with Brandy! We know you have lots of questions, so let's get started, ask away! Welcome Brandy!

Brandy: Hi everybody!

Foxfan: What's a typical day like for you when you're shooting the "Moesha" show?

Brandy: I spend most of my time at “Moesha.” I wake up approximately at 7am, I go to the set and work all day until 6pm, then I come home and live a normal life.

EZGuest54: Who is your favorite actor and actress?

Brandy: I don't have a favorite. I like many, many, many! There are too many talented people to have a favorite.

Spot880: What would be your advice to young actresses?

Brandy: Make sure that you really want the fame and want the life of an entertainer. It's very difficult, but if you put your mind to anything, you can accomplish the advantages and disadvantages.

Manolis Varnas: How old were you when you started and did you take any acting and voice lessons?

Brandy: I was 2 when I first started singing. I was 11 when I professionally started, and no, I don't take acting or voice lessons.

Makela: Is there a movie role that you are dying to play, and if so what is it?

Brandy: I would like to play a normal woman. No, I'm not looking for anything special, just what comes along, just playing a normal woman.

Spot880: Do you have any film work due out soon?

Brandy: No.

Marilee: Who is your greatest musical influence?

Brandy: I have many. Billie Holliday, Aretha Franklin, Sly Stone, Tina Turner, Diana Ross. There are so many of them. The "New Age" - Lauryn Hill, D'Angelo, and Erykah Badu.

Luvubrandy: Who is your favorite singer?

Brandy: There are too many talents to say who's my favorite.

Brandyfan: Can you tell us about your experiences working with Diana Ross and Whitney Houston?

Brandy: It was a great experience because I worked with two women who paved the way for artists like myself to be able to be heard. To meet them and work with them was a dream come true.

Candy: Since your duet with Monica was so successful, would you consider doing another duet with another singer, if so who?

Brandy: I would love to do another duet with Monica. And also, I'd like to do a duet with Lennie Kravitz.

ReyMysterio19: Hello Brandy my name is Donnie and I am from Virginia. My question is what inspired you to become a singer? Also will you ever be touring around Virginia or Tennessee? Thanks for your time answering.

Brandy: Whitney Houston was one of my inspirations, but my dad taught me about singing and about different ways to project. He was my teacher when I was younger. I don't think I will be touring any time soon.
